LONDON, July 30 (Xinhua) -- A miniature railway that once whisked more than 4 million letters and parcels a day deep beneath London is to be brought back into use, as a heritage tourist attraction.

FREETOWN, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma sacked Vice President Alhaji Samuel Sam Sumana for seeking asylum in a foreign embassy, according to a press release issued Tuesday night on the national broadcaster -- Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation.


Sam Sumana had requested asylum at the U.S. embassy in Freetown after soldiers surrounded his residence last week.


The VP who was in self imposed quarantine was expelled from the governing All Peoples Congress party last week for what the party described as falsifying his documents and anti party activities.
